Vampires battling in the streets of Prague will get in the Halloween spirit following the latest update to Bloodhunt.
Sharkmob’s Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt received its first major update since releasing in early access in early September. The update includes gameplay improvements, story content, daily challenges, tons of cosmetics, and much more. Those wanting to get into the holiday spirit can explore the Halloween quest line, giving players a number of outfits, makeup, and tattoos. Sharkmob released a new trailer to kick off the second act, which you can view below. You can also check out the full patch notes here.
Despite a rocky launch, Bloodhunt‘s game director Craig Hubbard feels the game continues to improve thanks to feedback from fans.
“We’re extremely excited that the Bloodhunt community is continuing to grow,” Hubbard said. “It’s great to see players enjoying the Early Access experience and our take on the Vampire: The Masquerade universe. We want to thank everyone who has joined the fight to become the ultimate vampire and we hope you’ll continue to share your feedback, suggestions, and hopes for the future of the game.”
“We’re just getting started on this journey and we see the community as a collaborative partner in helping us steer Bloodhunt in the right direction. We’re working on plans to further increase transparency and get more involvement from our players, so we hope you’ll stay tuned!”
Bloodhunt details
Sharkmob’s debut title, Bloodhunt, is a free-to-play third person battle royale set in the Vampire: The Masquerade universe. Bloodhunt forces players to use supernatural abilities, various weapons, and quick reflexes to fight and be the last vampire standing. Players can choose between three clans and two vampires from each to fit their ideal play style. They can also customize each vampire to their liking with a host of cosmetics.
Bloodhunt is currently in early access on Steam and set to release on PlayStation 5 later this year.
I didn’t know it was a battle royale. Going to download it now, are you going to pick it up?
Yeah and it’s actually a lot of fun. I played in both alphas before early release and have it installed.
