Mass Effect Legendary Edition Release Date Leaked

Mass Effect fans won’t have to wait long to return to the Commander Shepard trilogy if a report by Eurogamer is true.

Twitter user Idle Sloth spotted posts by Singapore retailer Shopitree and Indonesia company GSShop both showing the Mass Effect Legendary Edition release as March 12, 2021. Eurogamer stated in their story that baring delays, these dates appear to be accurate.

Electronic Arts hasn’t revealed an official release date for the remaster collection, only giving a release window of Spring 2021. The collection will include all single-player base content and DLC from the first three games, with targeted enhancements for the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. The game will also include all promotional weapons, armors, and packs, that’s remastered and optimized for 4K Ultra HD. Players will also notice improved frame rates.

Developer BioWare hasn’t shown any gameplay footage of the collection, but that could change soon if the March release holds up. Fans also hope to learn about the new Mass Effect game revealed at December’s Game Awards with a teaser trailer.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is set to release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC.
